TWINKLE TWINKLE

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

How I wonder what you are.

Up above the world so high,

Like a diamond in the sky.

When the blazing sun is gone,

When there's nothing shining upon,

Then you show your little light,

Twinkle, twinkle, through the night.

In the dark blue sky so deep

Through my curtains often peep

For you never close your eyes

’Til the morning sun does rise

JACK AND JILL

Jack and Jill went up the hill

To fetch a pail of water.

Jack fell down and broke his crown,

And Jill came tumbling after.

Up Jack got and home did trot

As fast as he could caper;

And went to bed to mend his head

With vinegar and brown paper.

Jill came in and she did grin

To see his paper plaster;

Mother vexed did whip her next

For causing Jack's disaster.
